Grey market flash for my D40x? - direct camera flash

I want a flash for my D40 camera to buy (basically the same as the D40, only 10Mpix).
I searched and found a Nikon SB-600 Flash is the way I like but do not want to $ 250 + not pay.
I've seen fakes Look gray market of $ 50. I understand that the failure is the measure of the quality of Nikon, but what's good for a flash of approximately $ 125 - $ 150?
